Work with production tasks
Production work can be planned, assigned and tracked through the tools enabled for your organisation. This guide explains how to approach a task without assuming every customer uses the same scheduling workflow.
Find the right job
Open the production or work routing area provided to your role. Identify the work order, job or operation using its reference and description. Review the assigned department, planned timing, requirements and any linked instructions before beginning. If information is missing, raise it with the person responsible for the work rather than guessing.
Record progress
Follow the controls available in your configuration to acknowledge or update the task. Enter accurate information at the time the work occurs, including any issues that affect completion or handover. If the task involves a document, use the version attached to the current job.

Escalate a mismatch
If the scheduled work differs from what is happening on the floor, tell the planner or supervisor. If a job has been released or locked by a production chain, its timing or assignment may need to be changed through the authorised planning process.
Good practice: Check the task reference before every update, especially when similar jobs are running at the same time.
