Manage documents in DocEx
DocEx helps teams find and work with documents associated with their operations. The files and actions available to you depend on your organisation's configuration and permissions.
Find a document
Open the document area and search or browse using the project, customer, work order or document reference you know. Check the document name, related record and version before using it for an operational decision. If you cannot locate the expected file, ask its owner where it has been saved or whether access has been granted.
Add or share information
Where your role permits, attach the document to the relevant work or business record so others can understand its context. Use a clear title and retain the original reference where applicable. Follow your organisation's review and approval process before treating a newly added document as an authorised instruction.

Handle superseded documents
Do not assume the first file returned by a search is current. Check dates and revision details. If two documents conflict, stop and confirm the approved version with the responsible person.
Tip: A meaningful file name and a correct link to its work record make future retrieval substantially easier.
