Using The Console
Find your way around Console
Console brings different areas of an operation together. Your navigation reflects the features enabled for your organisation and the permissions assigned to your account.
Start with your work area
Use the main navigation to open the area relevant to your role. Depending on your configuration, this may include production planning, finance, logistics, documents, business resources or communications. Open the record associated with the work you need to perform, then check its identity and status before making a change.

Follow records through the system
A job, customer, document or financial entry may be referenced from more than one area. When moving between views, confirm that you are still working on the intended item. Use the record's name, reference or other identifying information rather than relying on its position in a list.
Work within your permissions
Some actions are available only to assigned roles or departments. If a control is absent or an item cannot be opened, ask your administrator to check access. Do not use another person's account to complete the action.
Tip: Begin with one real record during onboarding. It is easier to learn how the areas relate when you can follow a familiar piece of work.

Manufacturing systems have to work across real people, established processes and existing technology. Private Client Services helps manufacturers introduce Console into that environment through planned configuration, guided implementation and ongoing support.
