Set up a production display

A shared display can give a production team a clear view of relevant work or operational information. Choose the content and location before selecting the screen.

Decide what the team needs to see

Identify the work area, expected audience and update frequency. A display used for shift coordination may need different information from one used for management review. Make sure the text remains legible from the normal viewing position and that sensitive information is not exposed to unintended viewers.

Prepare the location

Confirm power, network connectivity, mounting, viewing angle and who will manage the device. Use the display or viewport approved for your organisation's configuration. Avoid using a personal account to leave a permanently signed-in shared screen.

Verify the live view

Test the information during a normal shift. Check that it refreshes as intended, references the correct site or team and remains readable when the workload changes. Assign an owner to report incorrect or stale information.

Deployment note: Hardware supply, installation and any dedicated display configuration should be confirmed in your agreement.
