Analysis and Reporting
The Console collects information as your business works. Customer activity, production progress, inventory, journeys, costs and financial records all provide different views of what is happening. Analysis brings those views together so you can understand performance, compare results and decide what needs attention.
Much of this analysis is already available in the system. You do not have to gather the same figures from separate teams before you can begin asking questions. As your records are kept current, the Console gives you ways to examine the information where you work and across the wider business.
Explore the areas that matter to you
Analysis is available throughout the Console. A manager looking at production may want a different view from someone reviewing sales or finance. Each area provides context for the work being done there, while broader views help you understand how those activities relate.
Area | Information you can explore |
Sales and customer relationships | Customer activity, opportunities and the development of relationships. |
Projects and production | Work, schedules, capacity and progress. |
Quality | Inspections and records associated with completed work. |
Inventory | Materials, stock positions, locations and costs. |
Logistics | Journeys, routes, movements and delivery costs. |
Finance | Transactions, budgets, expected activity, cash and financial performance. |
Trading and collaboration | Relevant marketplace and business activity. |
Company-wide activity | Information from across the areas your account is permitted to see. |
These areas give you different starting points for understanding the same business. You can begin with a question in one part of the Console, then look at related information elsewhere to understand the wider picture.
Make the analysis window your own
The analysis window lets you move around the information available to you and focus on the data you want to see. You can choose the views most important to your role and make them your primary way of reviewing progress.
A production manager may put current work and capacity in front of them. A business leader may focus on financial position, sales activity and operational progress. The information that deserves the most space will differ from person to person and may change over time.
There is also a broader view where you can see information from across the business on one screen. From there, you can select what matters most and move into a particular area when you need more detail. The wider data library remains available, so choosing a primary view does not limit you to those figures alone. What you can see depends on your account permissions.
Compare information, not just read it
A single figure tells only part of the story. The Console gives you ways to compare activity across periods, examine plans alongside results and see how one part of the business affects another.
A delayed job may have an effect beyond the production schedule. A journey has both a delivery purpose and a cost. Inventory has to be considered alongside the work that needs it. Expected income becomes more meaningful when it is reviewed against actual bank activity.
These connections help you move from seeing that something changed to understanding the work behind the change. Keep the underlying records accurate so your comparisons reflect what has actually happened.
Create reports when you need them
Reporting is designed to be straightforward. Choose the information you want to review, select the relevant period or view, and create a report in a few clicks.
For a broader question, the Console can use agentic and algorithmic methods to prepare a longer, more detailed report. This helps when the information you need spans several areas and would otherwise take time to collect and assemble by hand. Review the finished report and its underlying figures before using it to make a decision or sharing it with others.
Reports give you a way to turn the information already held in the Console into something your team can discuss, retain and act on.
Work on screen or on paper
You can review reports in the Console, export them or print them. If you prefer working through a PDF with a pen and highlighter, you can do that while the Console continues to hold the current records in the background.
A printed report gives you space to study and mark up the information in your own way. When you need the latest position or want to investigate a figure further, return to the live view in the Console.
Generated files are saved in the Console’s file system and can be found by people with the appropriate permissions. This keeps reports available for later review without requiring everyone to maintain a separate collection of copies.
Give leaders a clearer view
In a larger company, board members and management teams may need different levels of detail. The Console can make relevant reports and information available according to their access, giving them a clearer view of progress without asking every department to prepare the same update separately.
Sharing an existing view or report can take only a few clicks. The aim is to spend less time collecting information for routine administration and more time discussing what the information means, making decisions and building the business.
Keep analysis useful
The Console provides the views, comparisons and reporting tools, but useful analysis still begins with good records. Keep work progress, inventory, journeys, customer activity and financial transactions current. Review unusual results and correct information that does not reflect what happened.
As your business uses more of the Console, the picture becomes richer. You can choose what to keep in front of you, explore the wider data when a question arises and produce a report when it is time to share what you have learned.
