Sales and CRM
The Console helps your team manage customer relationships from the first conversation through to an active opportunity and ongoing account. Contacts, conversations, follow-ups and deal activity can be kept together, so the next person speaking to a customer has the context they need.
It is designed for efficient deal-making, but also for the slower work of building trust. A useful customer record shows where a relationship stands, what has already been discussed and what should happen next.
Keep the relationship in view
Your sales team can securely store audio record of calls, customers and the people they speak to within each business. A company may have several contacts involved in different decisions, so you can keep more than one person associated with a relationship.
As conversations develop, your team can follow the history of the opportunity rather than relying on one person’s memory. Colleagues with the appropriate access can see previous activity and pick up a discussion with a clearer understanding of the customer’s needs.
Call from the Console
The Console includes a softphone, allowing authorised users to call contacts directly from the system when calling has been set up for your company. The calling service can use the built-in option or be connected to a suitable SIP VoIP system through a custom integration.
During a call, you can mute your microphone when needed or transfer the conversation internally to the appropriate colleague. This helps a customer reach the right person without having to begin the discussion again.
A phone number can be assigned as part of the setup. Calling is an additional module, with pricing starting at around £40 per month, depending on the service and configuration your business needs.
You can use a compatible headset for conversations. Wired and Bluetooth headset options depend on the device you are using and its audio settings, so check that your microphone and speakers are working before making your first call.
Review conversations
Where enabled, recorded calls and their transcripts are accessible from the relevant customer activity. Your team can return to them when preparing a follow-up or handing a relationship to another colleague.
Call activity can also help managers understand how customer relationships are developing. Information such as conversation length and the progression of interactions can support sales team performance review while giving staff the context behind the numbers.
Access to recordings and transcripts depends on your company’s settings, policies and the permissions assigned to each person.
Act quickly from a contact record
Quick actions reduce the time spent moving between tools. You can start an email action from the Console, which opens your default email application with the customer’s details ready to use. You can also search for a business in your browser with one action when you need more context before making contact.
The contact card helps you move through people and follow-ups. Depending on your configuration and device, you can select between contacts, set a reminder, and use tap, swipe or call actions to keep outreach moving. These controls are there to make the next useful action easy to take.
Follow opportunities and next steps
A good sales process does not end when a call finishes. Record what matters from the interaction, keep the opportunity’s position current and set the next follow-up so the relationship continues to move forward.
The Console allows different authorised people to follow that history. If a colleague takes over an account or joins a conversation, they can review the context before speaking to the customer. This supports a more consistent experience for the customer and a clearer view for the team.
Review performance and commission
Sales activity can be reviewed across individuals and the wider team. Managers can look at how relationships progress, where follow-ups are needed and how opportunities are developing over time.
Where your company uses assigned sales commission, the relevant commission can be associated with sales activity for review alongside performance. Keep ownership and deal information current so the team has a reliable record of the work behind each opportunity.
Build relationships that last
The purpose of CRM is to help your team understand people and act at the right time. Use the Console to keep customer details current, remember what has been discussed and make the next conversation more informed.
When contacts, calls, follow-ups and opportunities are kept together, your team can spend less time reconstructing a relationship and more time moving it forward.
