Getting started with Console
Console brings the information and work involved in running a manufacturing business into one connected environment. This guide explains how to prepare for your setup, what happens during onboarding, and where to begin once your organisation has access.
Who this guide is for
Business owners, managers and team members preparing to use Console for the first time.
Before you begin
Your organisation’s Console setup depends on the configuration it has purchased or agreed with PANASOF. Some teams may begin with a defined set of features; others may be introducing Console across multiple departments or connecting it to existing systems.
Before your setup session, identify the people who will lead the rollout internally. It helps to have someone who understands your day-to-day operations, someone responsible for users and permissions, and a point of contact for any existing systems you intend to connect.
You do not need to map every process in advance. A useful starting point is to know which work you want to manage first, who needs access, and what information those people already use.
Have these details ready
Area | Information to prepare |
Organisation | Company name, primary contact and relevant sites or departments |
People | Initial users, their roles and the teams they belong to |
Work | The first processes or jobs you want to manage in Console |
Existing information | Documents, customer or supplier records, and other data you may want to bring in |
Existing systems | ERP, MRP, accounting or other systems that may need to work alongside Console |
Planning note
You can introduce Console in stages. Start with a clearly defined team or workflow, confirm that it works in practice, then expand the rollout.
Your setup journey
1. Agree the starting configuration
We confirm the parts of Console your organisation will use first and discuss how your teams work today. For a larger deployment, this may include a closer review of departments, permissions, existing data and integration requirements.
Your agreed configuration sets the scope for setup and training. If you need additional features or integration work later, these can be assessed separately.
2. Prepare your organisation’s environment
Your environment is configured for your organisation and its initial users. The exact preparation depends on your agreement and deployment model. Your PANASOF contact will explain what information or actions are needed from your team before access is issued.
3. Introduce your first users
Your initial users receive the access instructions relevant to your deployment. Each person should use their own account so their work and permissions can be managed appropriately.
If you are responsible for adding more people, follow your organisation’s administrator instructions or ask your PANASOF contact how user invitations are managed in your configuration.
4. Complete guided onboarding
During onboarding, we help your team understand the starting configuration and the workflows they will use first. Training should focus on real tasks: finding information, carrying out work, recording updates and understanding who can see or act on them.
5. Begin with a real workflow
Choose a suitable piece of day-to-day work and complete it in Console with the people who will normally handle it. This gives your team a practical way to check that the configuration, access and instructions make sense before rolling it out more widely.

Find your way around
The areas available to you depend on your organisation’s configuration and your permissions. Console may provide access to production planning, finance, logistics, business resources, documents, communications and other operational tools.
If you cannot see a feature that a colleague can access, first check whether it is included in your organisation’s configuration and whether your account has permission to use it. Your organisation’s administrator or PANASOF contact can help confirm this.
Access note Screens and available actions may differ between users. Follow the instructions for your role and your organisation’s deployment.
