Business resources keep details of the organisations and people your teams work with. Use the correct record so sales, procurement, production and finance refer to the same party.

Search before adding

Search by organisation name and any known reference before creating a new entry. Similar names may refer to different legal entities, sites or contacts. Open the result and check the address and relationship before using it.

Keep relationships clear

A resource may be a customer, supplier, partner or another relationship relevant to your organisation. Use the available classifications and links to show how it is involved. Add contacts to the correct organisation and use a business email and role where known.

Correct an existing record

If you find a duplicate or outdated entry, follow your administrator's process for correcting it. Avoid starting a second record merely because one field is incomplete. Accurate party records make linked work and financial information easier to interpret.
