Prepare for guided setup
Prepare for guided setup
Guided setup works best when the first session is built around a process your team genuinely performs. The goal is to agree how that work begins, who handles each stage and what information must be available when it is handed on.
Choose the first process
Select a workflow with clear start and end points. For example, you might follow work from a customer requirement through planning, production and documentation. Bring a representative example, the documents people use and the names of the roles involved. Remove confidential third-party material unless you are authorised to use it in the session.
Prepare your people and information
Nominate an operational lead who can answer questions about the workflow, an administrator who can coordinate user access, and a technical contact if an integration is in scope. Prepare a list of initial users and departments, together with the data that the first workflow needs. Agree who is responsible for checking imported or entered information.
Agree what happens next
During the session, record decisions about configuration, permissions, training and any information that still needs to be supplied. Confirm the first live task, the people responsible for it and how they will report a problem. Further modules or integration requests can be reviewed as a separate scope.
Setup note: Configuration, integrations and training included in your deployment are defined in your agreement. Ask your PANASOF contact before treating an additional connection or workflow as included.
