The Levyne Group attended Subcon 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, the UK's largest manufacturing and supply chain exhibition, where Taye Reid, CEO,  took part in a panel discussion on the future of manufacturing.

The panel brought together a strong range of industry experience, Russell Watkins of Sempai Guide, Nasar Jockey of Rolls-Royce, Alan Lothian of 3Abel, and John Dee of Dee Enterprise Excellence.

The discussion explored the bridge between manufacturing best practice, operational excellence and digital strategy, with each speaker contributing a different perspective from across the manufacturing, consulting and industrial sectors. This extended to great discussions with consultants tackling problems within Manufatcuring such as from Dr. Mathieu Phejar, Phd , Kathy Ratcliffe,

A key strength of the session was the depth and breadth of knowledge represented on the panel. The discussion covered both the practical realities facing SMEs and the wider strategic considerations relevant to large-scale industrial organisations, including those operating at FTSE 100 level.

Events such as Subcon continue to provide an important platform for manufacturers, consultants and industry leaders to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions and promote better ways of working across British manufacturing.

The Levyne Group remains committed to engaging with the manufacturing community and contributing to conversations that support stronger, more capable and more resilient industrial businesses.
