We’re now hiring a driven M&A Analyst to join our growing investment team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with significant exposure to dealmaking, investors, and senior leadership from day one.
The Role
As an Investment Analyst, you’ll play a key role in sourcing, analysing, and executing acquisitions. You’ll support every stage of the deal lifecycle: from identifying targets and performing market research, to running valuations, building models, and supporting due diligence.
This role is ideal for a commercially-minded and analytical individual looking to build a career in private equity, corporate development, or entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth market research and target screening across the UK precision engineering sector
Perform financial analysis and build valuation models (DCF, comparables, LBOs)
Assist with deal origination efforts by researching and profiling potential targets
Support the due diligence process (financial, commercial, operational)
Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and deal documentation
Work cross-functionally with technical, legal, and operational teams during execution
Track deal flow and maintain internal databases and CRM systems
What We’re Looking For
Strong financial modelling, Excel, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
Strong interest in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial businesses (a plus)
Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
