About Us

We’re a fast-growing investment group in the UK precision engineering and manufacturing sector. Our mission is to build a national platform of best-in-class engineering firms.

We’re now hiring a driven M&A Analyst to join our growing investment team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with significant exposure to dealmaking, investors, and senior leadership from day one.

The Role

As an Investment Analyst, you’ll play a key role in sourcing, analysing, and executing acquisitions. You’ll support every stage of the deal lifecycle: from identifying targets and performing market research, to running valuations, building models, and supporting due diligence.

This role is ideal for a commercially-minded and analytical individual looking to build a career in private equity, corporate development, or entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA).

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research and target screening across the UK precision engineering sector

  • Perform financial analysis and build valuation models (DCF, comparables, LBOs)

  • Assist with deal origination efforts by researching and profiling potential targets

  • Support the due diligence process (financial, commercial, operational)

  • Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and deal documentation

  • Work cross-functionally with technical, legal, and operational teams during execution

  • Track deal flow and maintain internal databases and CRM systems

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong financial modelling, Excel, and analytical skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

  • Strong interest in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial businesses (a plus)

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

What We Offer

  • A chance to work on live deals from day one

  • Exposure to C-level decision making and senior investors

  • Career development and fast-track growth in a high-performance culture

  • Remote working and flexible location within the UK
